# Creations3D

> Creations3D turns a text description or a photo into a 3D model file at real size: GLB for games and the web, STL and 3MF for 3D printing, OBJ, and FBX for quad models. People use it on the website or from their AI assistant through a remote MCP server.

## MCP server

Remote MCP endpoint (Streamable HTTP): https://creations3d.com/mcp

- `create_model`: Create one model, or a batch of up to 20, from a description or an HTTPS or data image. Uses credits. Options: use_for (web, game, print, render), style, target_size with units (mm, cm, m) for the largest side, max_triangles, texture_size, quad.
- `get_model`: Read status, preview and signed download links. Can wait up to 50 seconds and refreshes expired links.
- `wait_for_models`: Wait up to 50 seconds for a batch; returns as soon as any pending model finishes.
- `list_models`: List your models, newest first, with a cursor for the next page.
- `export_model`: Export GLB, geometry-only OBJ, STL or 3MF (original FBX when a quad mesh was built). Print files use millimetres and are automatically repaired; the print report says whether the repair produced one closed solid.
- `account`: Read remaining credits and the credit cost of each kind of model.

## Sign-in

- Browser sign-in (OAuth): Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor sign in with the user's Creations3D email when the server is added. No API key needed. Discovery: https://creations3d.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp.
- API key: for scripts, CI or tools without browser sign-in, the account owner creates a key in Account, API keys, and sends it as `Authorization: Bearer c3d_sk_...`.

The same API key works with the REST API: `GET` and `POST https://creations3d.com/api/generations` (list and create; JSON with prompt or imageUrl, use_for, target_size, units), `GET` and `DELETE https://creations3d.com/api/generations/{id}`, and `GET https://creations3d.com/api/account` for credits. ## Credits

Building models uses credits from a Creations3D plan. New accounts start with a $1, 7-day trial with 40 credits; plans run from $20 to $100 a month. Plans are started and managed by the account owner on the website, never through the MCP tools. Full prices: https://creations3d.com/pricing.md.

- Game-ready model (light GLB): 4 credits
- Model from a photo: 6 credits
- Standard model (printing and renders): 8 credits
- Resizing and exporting to STL, 3MF or OBJ: free

## Good to know

- A model usually takes about 1.5 minutes once it starts; queueing can add a few minutes. At most two models per account are worked on at once.
- GLB files use metres; STL and 3MF use millimetres.
- Download links are signed and expire after 15 minutes. Call get_model or export_model for fresh ones.
- USDZ is not available. Wall thickness and print overhangs are not checked.
- If a build fails, its credits go back to the account automatically.
